Videoton top the table after 9 matches
The international break is a good opportunity to look back at the season so far. Videoton currently top the Soproni league division one table, after nine games, having won their last four matches in a row. The pre-season campaign saw manager Gyorgy Mezey take his squad over to Austria for a series of friendly matches, as they looked to prepare for the Europa League two-legged affair with Slovenian side NK Maribor. Vidi were very busy in the transfer market bringing in winger Andras Gosztonyi, defender Tamas Vasko, midfielder Dusan Vasziljevics, goalkeeper Mladen Bozsovics, while Martin Mutumba and Bojan Djordjic both arrived from Swedish side AIK Solna.
