The draw for the Hungarian cup fourth round took place at the HQ of the Hungarian FA on Wednesday morning. Vidi enter the competition at this stage of the cup, and have been handed a challenging tie at second division side, Tatabanya. The game will be played on Wednesday 26th October at the recently renamed Grosics Gyula stadium. Grosics was the the goalkeeper of the Hungarian golden side of the 50's, and both Buzansky Jeno, the right back and Grosics are the only survivors of that side.
Tatabanya currently sit in second place in the western section of the second division, and play in the same league as Videoton's second team. The Hungarian cup draw resulted in all of the first division sides being drawn away to lower league opposition. The game will be played over one match, and two period's of 15 minutes will follow, in the event of the game ending in a draw. If extra time fails to produce a result, then a penalty shootout will determine who progresses to the next round. The winners of the Hungarian cup will automatically qualify for the Europa Cup in the summer, which provides an additional motivation to do well in the cup. Videoton's second team fell out of the cup in the last round, losing at home to first division Győri ETO by a 3-0 scoreline, in a match played at Felcsut.
