Videoton sign Spanish defender Alvaro Brachi

Alvaro Brachi became the second summer signing, when he put pen to paper on a two-year contract with Videoton FC. Brachi was born in Barcelona on the 6th January 1986. The right footed defender is 186cm tall and can also play in central defence. The former Espanyol II player arrives from Cypriot side Anorthoszisz Famagusta, where he was on loan to them. He made 24 appearances for the Cypriot side scoring 2 goals in the process. Alvaro Brachi has also made more than 100 appearances for the second side at Espanyol, scoring 5 goals in those games. The 25 year old defender has already joined up with Paulo Sousa's squad at the Italian training base.
