A Videoton XI played out a pre-season friendly draw with Hapoel Ra'anana on Tuesday, at Felcsut. The match gave manager Paulo Sousa a good chance to look at some of the fringe players in the squad, as well as several youngsters in the division two side. Videoton played an experienced front two of Vujovics and Lencse, with the former finding the back of the Israeli net after 6 minutes. However, Hapoel managed to equalise on 33 minutes through Ziv. Seven substitutions were made during the match, given the players enough time to try and impress the Videoton manager. 

	Paulo Sousa: "The result wasn't the most important aspect of this match. The aim of the friendly was to give the chance to the fringe players, who have had little match action up to now in the league. I am pleased that despite the rough football that the opposition played, none of my players suffered an injury. The unfortunate situation, which resulted in an injury that Szolnoki picked up was a shame. The friendly match was useful on the whole, and I am satisfied with my players."
