Looking ahead to the Monicomp league fixtures this weekend

This weekend sees the 23rd round of the Monicomp league being played. Gyorgy Mezey's side have a real challenge on their hands, as they travel west to face Haladas, at Szombathely.

Vidi received a boost on Friday evening when second in the table Ferencvaros, lost 1-0 at home to mid-table Vasas. That result has come at a good time and will be sure to give Gyorgy Mezey's side an extra boost. Bottom of the table Szolnok confirmed just how tough it will be to pick up points at their stadium, after the managed to beat Ujpest by a single goal on Friday. Sixth in the table Debrecen, have a home game against relegation threatened Siofok on Saturday. Zalaegerszeg, who are currently sitting in fifth place have a home game against mid-table Győri ETO. Kaposvar have had a very good season, which is confirmed by the fact that they are fourth in the league table. They have a home game with MTK, who themselves have began to slip alarmingly down the league table, sitting in 14th place, which is just one place above the drop zone. Paks have a home fixture with Kecskemet, in a match that is difficult to predict. Lombard Papa also have home advantage, when they entertain Honved on Saturday evening. 

This weekend's fixtures may go a long way to deciding the outcome of this season's Monicomp league.
