Marko Scepovics: The most important is that we got the 3 points

"The most important thing for us before the game was to get the 3 points against Mezokovesd. We knew that our opponents would be a very massive side. They have started the season well and it was not going to be an easy game. Perhaps the supporters in the stands saw that it was an easy 3-1 win, and although the score does show this, it was a real battle out there on the pitch. Fortunately we quickly took the lead and then scored the second goal. The Mezokovesd defence opened up more after this and they were dangerous on the counter attack. I also scored a goal in the second half from a similar situation and it was a really good pass from Milanov. It was a real pity that we could not keep a clean sheet. The referee awarded a free kick in the 93rd minute, which they scored from. It would have been good to not let a goal in and win, but as I have said the most important thing was to get the 3 points. We have now jumped up to the top sides and we still have a game in hand" - commented Marko Scepovic.
